How do I change the formatting of my plan?
LivePlan compiles the written and financial data you enter into a professional document using the overall structure you've set up. This article covers your available options for customizing the formatting of your plan document.
Formatting in the Document options
The Document Options section of LivePlan lets you make several formatting changes, including:
Adding or removing page breaks after each chapter
Adding or removing page numbers

Formatting in the Plan Sections
LivePlan lets you make several formatting changes directly into the current section of the plan you're working in, including:
Adding or removing page breaks at any point in the section
Adding or removing dividers at any point in the section
Aligning text left, right, or center
Add many others such as headers, adding block quotes, etc...
You can access those formatting options in 3 ways while working in the Plan:
From the Top Menu bar:
From the Bubble menu by highlighting text:
The command or /menu which is brought up by typing "/" into the section:
Making outline customizations
From the Outline area located on the left hand side within the Plan, you can add, remove, and re-arrange the chapters and sections in your plan so it represents your unique business.

Note: The Executive Summary cannot be repositioned or removed.
Applying a theme to your plan download
If you need a quick, ready-made theme, you can select a combination of our 3 templates, 6 fonts, and 15 color schemes when you download your plan as a PDF or Word document.
