Create a Pitch Deck in LivePlan

2 min. read Updated June 30, 2026

A Pitch Deck turns the business information you already have in LivePlan into an editable slide presentation. Use it when you want to create a deck from your Company and Plan context, then edit, present, share, or export the slides.

Choose a starting point

LivePlan gives you three ways to begin a Pitch Deck.

LivePlan Create New Presentation dialog showing Generate from AI, Follow an investor-ready outline, and Start with a blank deck options.

Choose Generate from AI when you want LivePlan to draft the slides from the business information you have already added. This is usually the fastest starting point when your Plan, Forecast, Idea Canvas, Market Research, and Reference Files are current.

Choose Follow an investor-ready outline when you want a guided pitch structure with placeholder content you can write yourself.

Choose Start with a blank deck when you already know the slide structure you want and prefer to build the deck manually.

4.

Open the generated deck when it is ready.

The generated deck is a first draft. Review every slide before presenting, sharing, or exporting it.

Review and edit your slides

The Pitch Deck editor shows slide thumbnails on the left and the active slide in the main editing area.

Review charts, tables, and financial slides carefully. If a financial slide shows outdated or unexpected information, update the Forecast or Scenario first, then return to the deck and review the slide again.

  • Check your Forecast and Scenario before sharing slides with financial information.

  • Use the investor-ready outline when you want structure without generated wording.
