When you create Personnel entries in your forecast, they'll be designated as either:
- Direct labor employees (whose salaries are treated as direct costs)
- Regular labor employees (whose salaries are treated as overhead)
The option you choose will dictate the location of the salaries in your Profit & Loss statement. If you have already entered salaries, but they are not showing up, you may need to check a different section of the Profit & Loss. Please refer to the following options:
Direct labor in the Profit and Loss
In case you have included Direct labor entries in your forecast, you can locate them in the Direct costs section of your Profit & Loss statement. To view the Direct Labor line within the app, you need to click on the triangle icons to the left of the entry to expand the table rows, as shown below:
If you wish to see the Direct labor line in your printed plan, you can add an Appendix. To include Direct labor details in this Appendix, make sure that the box for Show individual direct costs is checked, which is shown below:
Note: The checkbox for Show individual employees only applies to Regular Labor employees.
Note: This Appendix can include all of your financial statements or just the Profit & Loss. Direct Labor only appears in the Profit and Loss.
In your downloaded plan, you'll see the Appendix added, with a Profit and Loss statement that includes an itemized list of your Direct labor entries:
